Please join us as we bring back the summer to Penn State Centre Stage! (Sunglasses are optional).

As I was meeting members of our community after arriving at Penn State last summer, one thing I kept hearing was how much people missed our summer productions. Penn State Centre Stage has historically played a significant role in the cultural life of Centre County during the summer months, and I’m so pleased that we will be returning to that role this June and July.

We’re rebooting with three very different productions, in two venues. We start off with the premiere of the powerful new musical The Last Day, and then segue to family musical A Year with Frog and Toad. Our last show of the summer will take place at the Downtown Theatre during Arts Fest, and is an innovative immersive one-actor adaptation of the Rime of the Ancient Mariner called Albatross. Each of these shows will take us on a unique journey, and I hope you will join us for all three.

Come and be a part of this exciting season of renewal and rebirth!
